VP Debate Moderator

Controversy brews up around VP debate moderator Ifill – CNN.com

I find myself concerned that a moderator who has a financial stake in Senator Obama becoming President (with the potential increase in book sales as a result) was even selected in the first place. Are not moderators supposed to be unaffiliated in  a reasonable way, including potential financial gain, to the two parties involved? Regardless, I do think Ifill can be impartial in her moderator duties. She will embarrass herself nationally if she unable to be impartial or acts snappish as she did in the previous VP debate in 2004. She’s a better choice then some of the more obviously biased reporters working at places like CNN and MSNBC.
