Like many, I watched the 2008 Vice Presidential Debate. To be honest, I think both Senator Biden and Governor Palin did equally well at different points. In some ways it seemed like Biden was relying on the past while Palin was stressing the future. At least that’s how I saw it, rightly or wrongly. It really comes down to individual expectations of the debate as to who you think won it.
If you thought Biden was going to destroy Palin then you’d probably view Palin as the winner of the debate.
If you thought they equally matched then you probably, like me, considered them tied due to their addressing different issues well.
And if you were one of the few that thought Palin would handily deal with Biden, then you’d probably consider it at worst a tie.
