Now, La Raza says the boycott accomplished its goal of discouraging other states from passing similar bills. The group also admits the boycott created a hardship for the workers and businesses it was intended to help.
Accomplished what goal? There are more states passing similar bills against illegals than ever and sentiment amongst the U.S. population is no where near favorable towards illegal immigrants. I’d call that a grand failure by the fringe elements in La Raza’s efforts to undermine American immigration laws and enforcement, especially since it harmed those they claimed they were helping. I just love political spin when it makes groups like La Raza look like the fools they are.
