Well I was disappointed today that an interview I had scheduled for a new job in Seattle, WA was canceled due to the company going on a hiring freeze. The freeze was apparently in part due to the on going Boeing strike, which I suspected was going to happen when the strike originally started. I can’t be too upset since it was a phone interview and potentially the first interview for that company. Sure, it’s frustrating but such situations can not be controlled.
Oh well, perhaps the strike will be resolved reasonably soon or another good opportunity will arise elsewhere. Until then, business as usual for me.
